Wet Riding

Velocity 650b "Deep-V" rim after about six months of wet winter road riding:

  

A 650B rim is smaller than a 700C wheel, so wear is slightly faster than the same riding on a 700C wheel.

Rim failed while rider was riding on an indoor trainer; rider was not injured or stranded.
