According to the man in charge of the project everything that could be removed from the coach was removed and then the whole thing w as bead blasted, and painted and reassembled.=20=20 The coach is an early Flxible-Twin model FTP-35 Serial 50341 which is only 39 serial numbers past the Wichita Flxtwin in our museum and was built as a demonstrator It actually operated in San Antonio while on the demo circui t. It was sold to City Utilities of Springfield in Missouri in June of 195 6. And it operated there along with our FTP-33 until the end of 1979 when we acquired both of them. Maybe someday ours will look so sharp! The only thing I know that it needs is a new rollsign curtain. Please note the photocredit on the picture as I got it off the internet. I hope everyone enjoys seeing this. Has anyone been down there and photogr aphed it? Norm Walters Great Plains Transportation Museum "The" Railroad Museum of Kansas 700 E.
